By maintaining strict control over the entire sourcing and manufacturing process, they are able to ensure fair labor practices, safe working conditions throughout their supply chain, and the quality of raw materials. Hocosa’s fine merino virgin wool come from sheep raised in Argentina and Uruguay, where they are kept in their natural environment, are shorn by hand (no mulesing) and are raised free from pesticides. The wool is then processed by weavers in Germany or Austria. Hocosa uses only dyes free of heavy metals (like AZO) and formaldehyde.
