Since its founding in 2014, Linenfox has sought to create long-lasting, practical and timeless linen clothing, while prioritizing the health and well-being of people and the environment. Linenfox is a small woman-owned company, with only 26 employees all working under one roof. It is dedicated not just to cultivating the vast experience of its cutters and seamstresses, but to creating long-lasting and positive relationships within the team. Each Linenfox garment is made by hand, ensuring with each hand-cut piece of fabric and stitch that the clothes are unique and sure to last for years.
Linenfox’s linen is 100% natural, certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (meaning the fabric is free of harmful substances), and perfectly suited for children. Its natural breathability keeps them cool during sunny days and cozy on breezy evenings, ensuring comfort through every adventure. Crafted with durability in mind, Linenfox dresses and jumpsuits withstand the bustling energy of kids’ activities.
Linenfox sources European Flax-certified linen, guaranteeing that the flax is grown following strict sustainability and traceability standards, including using both natural and traditional methods for retting the linen. In addition, Linenfox linen is wet-spun and the final fabric is woven entirely in Lithuania. Waste reduction is a top priority at Linenfox—all items are sewn to order, and leftover linen scraps from the cutting process are saved and repurposed.
Linenfox holds their customers accountable, believing that sustainable shopping is not just about choosing brands that share your values, but carefully considering your wardrobe, what you need vs. what you just want, and intentionally setting your own “shopping boundaries and pace.” How’s that for non-fast fashion?
